Bear with me though, it's still a work in progress and should be constantly updated over the coming weeks
First off, step back to 2018. I was touring Ireland, and was playing the Ravensdale country market. I stumbled upon Terence….I was searching for an inspirational space, and he said he had a converted hen house. Fast forward to 2019, and I set up a little makeshift studio in a beautiful part of Ireland. I spent the next few months recording the album. And then 2020 hit…..I had returned to Australia, I got a venomous snake bite, and covid hit - the world shut down, my hard drive broke down, and I spent the following year recovering the music from my hard drive, but also re recording vocals and some violin solos too. 2020 til mid 2024, I also spent those years getting our other musicians to record their parts within the music, remotely……and I then edited the whole thing, learnt more about editing and compression and EQ and all sorts, I started touring again, and I started searching for the new Tailor Birds base. I also released the animation for Stilts on the Water, released a 12 days of xmas inspired plant music release, 12 foods one might eat at xmas, and also did a film tv pitching course. And in 2023 I also found the new home base, as I steadily finishing up this new album.
Gosh, who would think it would take this long, but but but……to have the brain space to get it done, and all good things take time hey. And as I slowly set up the new base in Ireland, I steadily got this new record to mixing and mastering. With a new team of peeps to mix and master, here we are, the album is done and it's 2026!! Wowa huh. And I hope you'll love the music as much as I do. Gosh hey. And so…..now to get the music out.

In November 2023, I went into the absolutely stunning Tarkine forest, and what a place. I connected the Plant Wave to a run of different trees, all which captured my interest through their unique soul and beauty......and sooooo, it inspired me to finally set up a special page, that was dedicated to the plant, music, an ever growing catalogue of plant music that was designed specifically as videos to order direct to your phone / computer.
