Now back in Australia from Europe summer tour no.5, Tailor Birds are thrilled to return to the Port Douglas markets, for one of their last shows of the year. Having just been in the studio, recording new record ‘White Feather’, set for release on likely new adjusted date, 1st Jan 2018, the Tailor Birds will preview this, alongside their other tunes.
Sophie Kinston, front woman, electric violinist and creative force behind the Tailor Birds sound now tours full time through Australia and Europe, with a huge variety of shows – festivals, gigs, street shows, markets, spoken word events, and one-off launches.
With live looping, foley art, electric violin, vocals, and more, come see her at the Port Douglas markets, even pick up an album or 2. This is electric violin goodness, live looping, foley art etc.
A beautiful local market that runs every Sunday right through the year, most stalls are ready to trade by 7.30am, and operate until around mid-afternoon. Entrance is free.
Tailor Birds : 8.30am – midday or so.
