Tailor Birds are now touring full time, as the latest pop-up act to see. And we are thrilled to say that we have made it to the semi-finals of the Bluesfest busking competition this year. A competition that’s been running since 2004, Tailor Birds are set to release a wave of energy onto the festival, providing something truly special to this festival competition.
In the festivals’ own words, ‘this competition is the perfect platform for unsigned artists to showcase their talents to a previously untapped national audience. The competition is held in and around Byron Bay in the weeks leading up to Bluesfest instigating the Bluesfest buzz with live performances from musicians travelling from around the country for the chance to take out the prize.’
And with prizes including spots at Bluesfest in 2017 and 2018, recording time and instrument gear and more. The festival comp runs through both Tues 11th, and Weds 12th April at Byron Bay’s Beach Hotel. There’s some really great acts set to play, and with the Tailor Birds spot late on Weds 12th April, at 9pm, we hope to see you there.
